This spanish verb is an irregular verb.

Meaning : can, to be able 

In the present tense the o changes to ue in all form except nosotros & vosotros

él, ella puede

nosotros/- as  podemos

vosotros/-as podeís

ellos/-as pueden

Let's see an example :

¿Puedes ir al supermercado a comprarme una zanahoria?

(Can you go to the supermarket to buy me a carrot?)

In preterite  the o changes to u

Indefinido    - er

pude

pudiste

pudó

pudimos

pudisteis

pudieron

Let's see an example :

No llovió, así pudimos ir al zoológico

( It didn't rainso we could go to the zoo)

In imperfect nothing changes
