Differences between DESDE - DESDE HACE
Desde : indicates the exact time that started in the past and continue in the present
You can use it with the following time markers : hour, day, week...
- desde las 3
- desde ayer
- desde lunes
- desde Enero
Ejemplo :
La tienda no está abierta desde Viernes
(The store is not open since Friday)
Desde hace : indicates the beginning of the time period that started in the past and is still going on now
You can use it with the following time markers : a certain quantity of time
- desde hace una hora
- desde hace tres días
- desde hace seis meses
- desde hace nueve años
Ejemplo:
No hay Wifi señal desde hace 5 horas
(There is no Wifi signal for 5 hours)
