Several afforestation programs around the world have achieved remarkable success in restoring forests and promoting sustainable land use practices.For example, China's ambitious Green Green Wall project aims to combat desertification by planting a belt of trees across northern China, spanning thousand of kilometers. Similarly, the Bonn Challenge, a global initiative launched in 2011, seeks to restore 350 million hectares of degraded and deforested land by 2030 with commitments from over 60 countries.
